About the event

Unique Trail Lanzarote by Joma makes its debut in 2026 with four races that all end in the same place, the Mirador del Río, on courses that cross five municipalities. It is run by Summits Sports Events and K3 Servicios Deportivos Integrales, with Joel Delgado and Juan Antonio Carreño “Chico” as race directors, and backed by the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the councils of Yaiza, San Bartolomé, Haría, Teguise and Tías.

It is a first edition, but not a start from nothing: on 18 August 2026 it had already passed 400 entries, with close to 40 % of the field from outside the province of Las Palmas and 35 % women.

Course and distances

Each distance has its own start and they all finish at the Mirador del Río:

• 67 km, Ultra Unique Trail Lanzarote, 2,870 m of climbing, starting in La Geria
• 46 km, Maratón del Jable, 2,082 m, starting in San Bartolomé
• 23 km, Experience, 1,202 m, starting at Peñas del Chache
• 12 km, Manriqueña, 641 m, starting in Haría
• Vertical Las Gracioseras, 400 m of climbing on the Risco de Famara, on Thursday the 15th
• Kinder Trail, on Friday the 16th, from 100 m to 1,000 m by age, for ages 4 to 15
• Hiking route, on Saturday the 17th

The four races and the hiking route start on the morning of Saturday 17 October; exact start times have not been announced. Cut-offs: on the 67 km, 4 hours to Casa Cerdeña at kilometre 19 and 7 hours to Famara at kilometre 44; on the 46 km, 4 hours to Famara at kilometre 25.

Entry and prices

Entries go through Rockthesport and close on 13 October 2026 at 23:59. The top price band applies now: 69 EUR for the 67 km, 55 EUR for the 46 km, 35 EUR for the 23 km and 25 EUR for the 12 km. The Vertical costs 25 EUR and the Kinder Trail is free. The opening date is still to be confirmed, as official sources give three different versions; the closing date is the same in all of them.

Places are capped per distance: 200 on the 67, 250 on the 46, 300 on the 23, 350 on the 12 and 300 in the children’s race. Distance changes, transfers and cancellations with a refund, minus a 10 EUR fee, are accepted up to 25 days before.

Entry includes a race bag, technical shirt, chip, aid stations, insurance, medical support, a recovery area and official photos; on the 67, 46 and 23 km, a finish-line massage too.

Mandatory kit

On every distance: a charged phone with coverage, using the number given at registration; a water container of 1 litre on the 67 and 46 km and half a litre on the 23 and 12 km; and your own cup, because the aid stations have none. Kit is checked in the call room.

Planning your race

Numbers are collected on Thursday the 15th from 17:00 to 20:00 and on Friday the 16th from 10:00 to 13:00 and 16:00 to 20:00. All four races pay prize money, from 400 EUR for the 67 km winner down to 30 EUR for third place on the 12 km, plus an extra prize for the first Lanzarote resident on each distance.
