About the event

The Night Run at Club La Santa is Tinajo’s night race: run after dark, on tarmac and with a neon dress code. The 2026 date is Saturday 21 November. It is organised by Club La Santa with Tinajo town council, the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the Canary Islands government.

This is not a race for chasing a personal best. It is 4 or 7 kilometres inside the resort, with music, a DJ and food trucks from the afternoon on, and most of the field running in costume or in fluorescent kit.

Course and distances

Start and finish at the Club La Santa stadium. Depending on the distance you do one or two laps of La Laguna, and most of the course is tarmac: road shoes, no need for trail lugs.

• Night Run 7 km: two laps
• Night Run 4 km: one lap
• Night Walk 4 km: the same lap, walking
• Kids Night Run: from 6 months to 14 years

The minimum age for the adult race is 15.

Entry: three price phases

The figure that matters most here is when you sign up, because the fee goes up twice:

• Early bird, 17 to 23 December 2025: 20 EUR for the race and 14.60 EUR for the walk.
• Standard, 24 December 2025 to 28 September 2026: 22.10 EUR and 16.20 EUR.
• Final phase, 29 September to 16 November 2026: 25.50 EUR and 19.70 EUR.

The Kids Night Run costs 8 EUR from 4 to 14 years and is free up to 3. The standard rate is the one open now: entering before 28 September saves 3.40 EUR on the race. Entries close on 16 November 2026 at 12:00, or earlier if the places run out.

Race day timings

Number collection is on the Saturday itself, from 14:00 to 18:45, at La Plaza in Club La Santa. The Kids Night Run starts at 18:00, and the race and the walk, both distances together, at 19:00.

The event takes over the whole evening, roughly from 17:00 to 22:30, with concerts, face painting and bouncy castles.

Planning your race

Start and finish are in the same place, so there is no shuttle to organise. And because the children’s race goes off an hour before the adults’, you can take a child round at 18:00 and run yourself afterwards.

Night falls early in Lanzarote in November and the temperature drops noticeably once you stop: leave dry clothes in your bag. The resort sits just outside La Santa, in Tinajo, about 20 minutes by car from Arrecife.

One for the calendar: the Lanzarote International Running Challenge begins on 22 November, the very next day, so anyone travelling in can link the two. The other race in the municipality is the Tinajo You Trail, in September.
