About the event

The Night Run at Club La Santa is Tinajo’s night race: run after dark, on tarmac and with a neon dress code. The 2026 date is Saturday 21 November. It is organised by Club La Santa and the race is part of the Copa de Tinajo.

This is not a race for chasing a personal best. It is 4 or 7 kilometres inside the resort, with neon colours, concerts, live music, DJ sets, food stalls, face painting and bouncy castles from the afternoon on.

Course and distances

Start and finish at the Club La Santa stadium. Depending on the distance you do one or two laps of La Laguna, and most of the course is tarmac: road shoes, no need for trail lugs.

• Night Run 7 km: two laps
• Night Run 4 km: one lap
• Night Walk 4 km: the same lap, walking
• Kids Night Run: from 6 months to 14 years

The minimum age for the adult race is 15.

Entry: three price phases

The figure that matters most here is when you sign up, because the fee goes up twice:

• Early bird, 17 to 23 December 2025: 20 EUR for the race and 14.60 EUR for the walk.
• Standard, 24 December 2025 to 28 September 2026: 22.10 EUR and 16.20 EUR.
• Final phase, 29 September to 16 November 2026: 25.50 EUR and 19.70 EUR.

The Kids Night Run costs 8 EUR from 4 to 14 years and is free up to 3. The rate in force is already the last one, the 25.50 and 19.70 EUR phase: the standard phase closed on 28 September 2026 and the source announces no rise after it, checked on 12 October 2026. Entries close on 16 November 2026 at 12:00 CET, or earlier if the places run out.

Your entry includes accident insurance, through Mutuacat, the official race shirt for every participant and a finisher medal for anyone who completes the 7 or the 4 km. Children get a souvenir and a medal. The first three in each distance, men and women, take a trophy and a gift voucher of 60, 30 or 20 EUR.

Free if you run the Running Challenge

The Running Challenge page says, in all three of its price phases, «Night Run: Gratuito para los participantes en una o más carreras la International Running Challenge», free for anyone taking part in one or more International Running Challenge races. That is the only condition, being entered in at least one of the four races from 22 to 25 November.

The Night Run’s own page does not mention that free entry, checked on 3 October 2026. What it does warn is that Night Run results are not included in the overall Lanzarote International Running Challenge standings.

Race day timings

Number collection is on the Saturday itself, at La Plaza in Club La Santa, and here Club La Santa contradicts itself: the Night Run page puts it from 14:00 to 18:45 and the Running Challenge programme from 14:00 to 18:00. Work to the shorter window and have yours in hand by 18:00. The Kids Night Run starts at 18:00, and the race and the walk, both distances together, at 19:00.

The event takes over the whole evening and closes at 22:30. The course page gives access to the site from 17:00 and the day’s programme puts the opening at 17:30, so it opens somewhere between those two times.

Planning your race

Start and finish are in the same place, so there is no shuttle to organise. And because the children’s race goes off an hour before the adults’, you can take a child round at 18:00 and run yourself afterwards.

Night falls early in Lanzarote in November and the temperature drops noticeably once you stop: leave dry clothes in your bag. The resort sits just outside La Santa, in Tinajo, about 20 minutes by car from Arrecife.

One for the calendar: the Lanzarote International Running Challenge begins on 22 November, the very next day, so anyone travelling in can link the two. The other race in the municipality is the Tinajo You Trail, in September.
