The Club La Santa Night Run is run on Saturday 21 November in Tinajo. It is a night race, on tarmac and inside the resort itself: 7 or 4 kilometres, a 4 km walk and a children’s race that goes off an hour earlier. The start is at 19:00 from the stadium.
This is what you need sorted to run it, from the event’s official page and the Club La Santa programme, both read on 10 October 2026.
The four events and their age limits
- Night Run 7 km: two laps of the lagoon.
- Night Run 4 km: one lap.
- Night Walk 4 km: the same lap, walking.
- Kids Night Run: a social race from 6 months to 14 years.
For both adult distances the minimum age is 15: «Podrás elegir entre dos distancias, 4K o 7K, pensadas para todos los niveles y para participantes a partir de 15 años», you can pick between two distances, 4K or 7K, built for all levels and for runners aged 15 and over. The race is part of the Copa de Tinajo.
The course: tarmac and laps of La Laguna
Start and finish are at the Club La Santa stadium and, «dependiendo de la distancia se recorrerá 1 o 2 vueltas», you cover one or two laps of the La Santa lagoon depending on your distance. Most of the course is tarmac, so road shoes do the job and lugs are no use here. It is flat from start to finish.
The timetable for Saturday 21
The race programme, read on 10 October 2026, splits the day like this:
| Time | What happens |
|---|---|
| 14:00 to 18:45 | Number collection at La Plaza, Club La Santa |
| 17:30 | Race village opens |
| 18:00 | Kids Night Run |
| 19:00 | Race and walk start, at the stadium |
Both adult distances go off together at 19:00 and the children’s race an hour earlier, so you can take a child to the 18:00 start and run afterwards. But then your number has to be collected before that 18:00, not at the end of the window.
What it costs now
The fee in force since 29 September 2026 is 25.50 euros for the race and 19.70 euros for the walk, and it is the last of the three pricing phases Club La Santa publishes. Children aged 0 to 3 go free and 4 to 14 pay 8 euros.
Entries close on 16 November 2026 at 12:00 CET, or earlier if the places fill, and the page itself leaves no room: «No se admitirán inscripciones fuera del plazo de inscripción», no entries will be taken outside the entry window.
What the entry covers
- The official race T-shirt for everyone who enters.
- A finisher medal for anyone completing the running distances: «Medalla oficial de la Club La Santa Night Run para todos los finishers de la modalidad carrera de 7km/4km», the official Night Run medal for every finisher of the 7 km and 4 km races.
- For the children, a race souvenir and a medal.
- Accident insurance included in the entry, through Mutuacat.
- For the first three in each distance, men and women: a trophy and a gift voucher worth 60, 30 and 20 euros.
What the result counts towards
The Night Run counts towards the Copa de Tinajo. And there is one line worth reading before you start doing sums: «Los resultados de la Night Run no se incluyen en los resultados generales de la Lanzarote International Running Challenge», Night Run results are not included in the overall Lanzarote International Running Challenge standings. Anyone here for the four-race series the following week runs this one for the party, not for the general classification.
The Running Challenge page, read on 10 October 2026, keeps the same line across all three of its pricing phases: «Night Run: Gratuito para los participantes en una o más carreras la International Running Challenge», the Night Run is free for anyone entered in one or more International Running Challenge races. The only condition is being signed up for at least one of its four races.
Planning it
Start and finish are in the same place, so there is nothing to shuttle. The resort sits on the edge of La Santa, in Tinajo, about 20 minutes by car from Arrecife, and the race village opens at 17:30, an hour and a half before the start.
November gets dark early in Lanzarote and the temperature drops a fair bit once you stop, at night and on the coast: dry clothes in the bag. And because it is run in the dark, plenty of people do it with a head torch and in the neon look the race itself provides, with concerts, live music, DJ sets, food stalls, face painting and bouncy castles from the afternoon on.
One calendar note: the Lanzarote International Running Challenge opens on Sunday 22 November, the very next day, with the 10 km Vince Regan Memorial Classic Road Run at 9:00. Behind it come the 13 km Ridge Run, the 5 km Beach Run and the 21 km Vuelta de Tinajo, through to Wednesday 25.
The full listing, with the pricing phases, the course and the official links, is at Night Run Club La Santa. To enter you have to go to the Club La Santa site, because the payment is theirs.
