Middle distance racing returns to Lanzarote and its entries are open: 200 euros until 21 April 2027, with the window closing on 20 June. Club La Santa has also confirmed 26 June 2027. The other race, the standard distance, did not open on 15 October 2026.
Entries closed on Wednesday 14 October at 23:59 with 196 swimmers. The swim was held on Saturday 17 October 2026 at Playa de Las Cucharas, with the 1.5 km off at around 11:30, and number, chip and cap handed out on Friday 16 at Centro Deportivo Santa Rosa.

The 30th edition was swum on 19 September 2026. Swimmers were taken by boat to Bajo el Risco, at the foot of the Famara cliff, and swam the 2.6 km back to Caleta del Sebo inside the El Río marine reserve. 315 of them crossed the channel.
