About the event

Haría Titán is the mountain race of northern Lanzarote. It is run by Club Haría Trail Team and in 2026 it fills three days, from Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 November, with the long race on Saturday at 07:00 and Plaza de Haría at the centre of everything.

Everything that follows comes from the “Reglamento Haría Titán, Edición 2026”, 24 pages, which the club publishes on its website.

Course and distances

Five formats, and only three are races. Start and finish in Haría, on Calle Residencia Escolar, a few steps from the square:

• 42.5 km, Haría Titán Trail: 2,181 m of climbing (4,362 m in total) and 200 places
• 22.5 km, Haría Titán Geoparque: 1,029 m of climbing and 300 places
• 14.5 km, Haría Titán Trail Joven: 609 m of climbing and 300 places
• 5 km, inclusive family hike, on Friday the 13th: 135 m of climbing and 100 places, with the fee going as a donation to a non-profit organisation
• Chinij@s Trail, children’s race, also on Friday the 13th: 200 places

The long route passes Cuesta del Pozo, Barranco Tesnesia, Guinate, Guatifay, Hoya La Pila, El Risco, Los Helechos and the Vega de Haría. The 22.5 climbs by Faja to the Valle de Temisa and the 14.5 does Faja and Boca de Temisa.

Timetable across the three days

The starts are not packed into a single morning, so it pays to read your own time:

• Thursday 12: bib collection from 18:00 to 20:30
• Friday 13: bibs from 11:00 to 21:00, the 5 km inclusive hike at 16:00 closing at 18:15, and the Chinij@s Trail at 18:30 closing at 19:30
• Saturday 14: 42.5 km at 07:00, Geoparque 22.5 km at 08:00 and Trail Joven 14.5 km at 09:00

The Chinij@s starts in the dark, at 18:30 on a November Friday, and the rules recommend a head torch for that race in particular.

Cut-offs

The 42.5 has an eight-hour limit and one intermediate cut-off that decides the race: “CORTE DE PASO A LAS 12:40 MIRADOR DE GUINATE”, at kilometre 25+540, which is the third aid station. Anyone reaching it after 12:40 does not continue. The 42.5 finish closes at 15:00.

The Geoparque 22.5 km starts at 08:00 and closes at 12:30, and the Trail Joven 14.5 km starts at 09:00 and also closes at 12:30. That is four and a half hours for the middle distance and three and a half for the short one.

Mandatory kit

This is not a wish list, it is checked:

• Mobile phone with the number given at registration and enough battery
• Survival blanket, on the 42.5 km only
• Whistle, on the 42.5 km only
• Water container of 0.5 litres
• Your own cup or container. The rules put it in the recommended list and at the same time warn that “No habrá vasos reutilizables”, there will be no reusable cups, and that each runner will have to use their own at the aid stations and at the finish. In practice it is mandatory: no cup, no drink.
• Waterproof jacket if rain is forecast. The organisers can require it on the day, and it is the runner who judges whether theirs is good enough for bad weather in the mountains, with the organisers’ judgement taking precedence in case of doubt.

Also recommended: sun cream and lip balm, sunglasses, a windproof, a cap or buff, and a head torch for the Chinij@s.

Bib collection

“Los dorsales se entregarán en el llano anexo casa del cura, centro urbano, situado junto a la Residencia Escolar de Haría”, bibs are handed out on the open ground next to the priest’s house in the town centre, beside the Residencia Escolar in Haría, on Thursday 12 November from 18:00 to 20:30 and on Friday the 13th from 11:00 to 21:00. Bring your ID, and if someone else goes, a signed authorisation with a copy of both documents. Each bib carries a colour for its format and the emergency number printed on it.

Entry and prices

The entry period runs from 22 May to 26 October 2026 at 23:59, or until places run out, and goes through Cronoline Canarias.

On 1 September 2026 every format went up, by around 8 euros each: the marathon moved from 40 to 48 euros, the Geoparque from 30 to 38, the Trail Joven from 20 to 28, and both the hike and the Chinij@s from 5 to 8. Those are the amounts Cronoline still lists, read again on 12 October 2026, with no later band announced on the platform.

And there are two dates that fall before the close, which is where the money gets lost:

• 11 October 2026: the last day to change format or distance and to cancel your entry. Both cost a 4 EUR admin fee; moving up means paying the difference plus the fee, and moving down refunds the difference minus the fee. After 11 October no change or amendment is accepted, apart from correcting personal details, which is free until entries close.
• 26 October 2026: “A partir del cierre de inscripciones, fijado para el 26/10/2026, no se permitirá ningún cambio de modalidad ni se realizarán reembolsos bajo ninguna circunstancia”, after the close no change of format and no refund under any circumstances. Cancelling stops being possible fifteen days before the close: the 11th is the date that counts.

A discount that was not on this page before: Haría Titán Sin Barreras. Anyone who shows an official disability card or certificate gets “una reducción de 10 € en la cuota de inscripción”, 10 EUR off the entry fee.

The environmental certification, with its date and its caveats

FEDME announced on 12 December 2024 that Haría Titán Trail had obtained its Green CxM Trail FEDME environmental certificate, and in that note it described the race, alongside Eurafrica Trail, as “la quinta y sexta Carrera por Montaña en España en obtener la certificación ambiental”, the fifth and sixth mountain races in Spain to obtain the environmental certification. That is where the figure of six comes from, and that is also where its date comes from: December 2024.

Checked on 1 October 2026, no current source confirms it for the 2026 edition: the list of certified races FEDME publishes has three names (Travesera, Desafío Urbión and Sta Cruz Extrem) and Haría Titán is not on it, the 2026 rules do not mention it across their 24 pages, and the club’s sustainability page talks about how they “apuestan en esta edición por la obtención de la certificación ambiental Green CXM Trail FEDME”, that is, about obtaining it this year rather than holding it.

So this page does not claim that the race carries it in 2026. It says who awarded it and when, and that on 1 October 2026 it is not published as current in any of those three sources.

Who won, and which edition

Carefully, because the names going around are not from the latest edition. Jesús Gil, in 4:05:08, and Audrey Bams, in 5:10:22, won the marathon of the fourth edition, the one held in November 2024, according to the El Chaplón report of 18 November 2024.

The next edition was run on 15 November 2025 and its winners are still nowhere to be found on 1 October 2026: hariatitan.com has no results section that day and the 2026 rules do not carry them either. Until there is a classification somebody can look up, this page puts no names on 2025.

Planning your race

Haría sits at the far north of the island and November weather turns fast: it can be sunny in the valley and cold and windy on the ridges, with cloud on the high ground. Pack a windproof even if you start in a t-shirt, and keep the waterproof to hand in case the organisers ask for it at the kit check.

For anyone coming to watch, it is one of the most rewarding races on the island: Plaza de Haría holds the start, the finish and the atmosphere, it has shade from the laurel trees and bars all around, and you can stay put all day and still see every runner go past twice. If you can only be in one place at one time, the Mirador de Guinate cut-off at 12:40 is the tensest moment of the day.
