About the race

The IV Haría Music Run Night was run on Saturday 8 August 2026 and drew 450 participants to the north coast of Lanzarote. It is a night race and a village race: the esplanade at La Garita beach in Arrieta serves as start, finish and stage all at once.

It is organised by the sports department of Haría Town Council with Summits Sport Events, as part of the Series Music Run Night. The programme starts at 19:00, two hours before the first gun, with DJs, zumba, a warm-up run by the Escuela Báilame and the Guaychara batucada.

With three distances, one of them a 1.6 km family race, almost anyone can take part.

Course and distances

The course is coastal and flat, between Arrieta and Punta Mujeres, starting and finishing on the esplanade at La Garita beach.

Watch what you find when you search: the Haría Music Run Night page on the Haría Town Council website still serves the 2024 edition, with distances of 1.6, 4 and 7.5 km. The 2026 distances are 1.6, 5 and 10 km.

Timings

• 21:00, start of the 1.6 km family race
• 21:25, start of the 10 km
• Around ten minutes later, start of the 5 km

The Sportmaniacs classifications record actual start times of 21:06, 21:31 and 21:38.

2026 results

10 km, men: Jorge Álvarez Álamo 33:17, Roberto Rojo Martínez 36:01 and Gabriel Acosta Perdomo 36:32. Women: Nika Svetec 38:52, Marta Campmany 39:58 and Maike Döhling 40:29.

5 km, men: Hugo Pérez Robayna 15:39, Joel Gregorio García Domínguez 16:12 and José Vicente Vizcaíno Sicilia 16:50. Women: Susan Murnane 20:26, Janina Morales Acuña 20:44 and María José Pina Alonso 21:46.

1.6 km: Aarón Barrios Salas 5:31 and Junon Lariño 7:57.

Planning your race

It is August and it is the coast: by 21:00 in Arrieta the sun is off you, but the humidity is still there, and a flat 10 km runs hotter than it looks on paper. Drink before the start, not only during.

Everything is concentrated on the La Garita esplanade, so anyone coming along misses nothing: they see all three starts, the finish and the music programme without moving. And with the family race at 21:00 and the 10 km at 21:25, a family can run in two shifts and meet at the same finish line.

One note on the date: some reports gave 9 August, but the race was on Saturday the 8th. The 9th was a Sunday.
