David Cruz Santana won the 33.5 km race at the 10th Tinajo You Trail in 2:44:40, and Claudia Mola was the first woman home in 3:42:30. It was run on Saturday 5 September 2026, starting and finishing on the esplanade of the Ermita de Los Dolores in Mancha Blanca, and the three distances produced 363 finishers.

Claudia Mola came 11th overall and Montserrat García 13th. The long course was completed by 36 athletes, 27 men and 9 women, with one more runner reaching the line without a recorded time. The last finisher stopped the clock at 5:06:14, seven minutes inside the 5:13:30 finish cut-off in the rules: nobody was timed out.

Rubén Rodríguez Caraballo, third here, was second in 2025 with 3:00:22. Teresa Menzel, who took second place that year in 4:03:39, finished fifth this time in 4:24:33. Comparing times across editions is misleading: the long course has changed route and stated distance several times in ten years, and the council has a 2:38:41 on record from the seventh edition.

The 14 km is the distance that scores for the Tinajo Popular Races Cup, and it went to Tanausú Cabrera Albelo, the name that comes up most often in this year’s island trail scene: he had already won the 20 km Transajaches in Femés and the 5.2 km Carrera de Mascaritas, and finished second at the San Leandro in Teseguite and at the Trail La Vegueta.

Anya Lamprecht Alfonso won the middle distance again, with the tightest margin of the day: 1:08:40, one second slower than the 1:08:39 that won it for her in 2025. Cris Molina, third, had won the long trail at the San Leandro in April.

The 14 km finished with 170 classified runners, 130 men and 40 women, and the last bib on the list belongs to the sweeper.

Akorán Rodríguez Hernández also repeated his win over 8 km, though 46 seconds slower than his 33:47 in 2025 and in a different shirt: he ran for EAMJ Playas de Jandía then and for Olympus 21 Tenerife now. Dani García Martín, second, had won the short trail at the San Leandro.

The 8 km had the day’s highest share of women: 55 out of 157 finishers, a little over a third. In the 14 km it was 40 of 170, and on the long course, 9 of 36.

That is the portrait of the race in its tenth year: 327 runners across the two short distances and 36 on the long one. Nine out of ten chose the accessible routes.

There are no classifications for the guided hike or the Tinajo YouTrail Chinijos, Friday’s two activities, because neither is timed. No island media outlet had covered the race when this report was written, so every figure here comes from the official timing classifications. The next big trail on the calendar is the Haría Titán in November.
