The Carrera Popular San Rafael ran its IV edition on Saturday 24 October 2026 in the Villa de Teguise, and the two official classifications add up to 166 runners with a place: 78 in the 14 km and 88 in the 5 km.
Sergio Machín Bernal won the 14 km in 1:00:06 and Andrés de León Díaz the 5 km in 19:14.
Every time and place on this page comes from the timekeeper’s official classification, read on 24 October 2026 at 17:20 with the «Meta» split selected. A classification can change after the race: if it does, it is updated here and said so.
The fact of the edition: all twelve podium places are Máster or Veterano_A
Four podiums, twelve places, and not one outside the two veteran categories. Over 14 km and over 5, among men and among women, the overall trophies went to runners in Máster and Veterano_A. No Senior and no Juvenil.
It is not for lack of young runners: the 5 km has eight classified runners in the Juvenil category, and two of them came in fourth and fifth overall, 26 and 28 seconds off the winner.
The 14 km was won six seconds off the hour
They started at 10:00 and the first man came in at 1:00:06, at 4:18 per kilometre.

What the classification says, and what it does not
The 14 km has three disqualified runners and one runner without a time. The three disqualified have a finish time on screen but no place, and the classification does not publish the reason, checked on 24 October 2026, so none is given here.
There is no published classification for the Chinij@s Trail. The competition filter on the timekeeper’s page only offers 14Km and 5Km, checked on 24 October 2026. The children’s races were run, but their times are not anywhere public.
Next on the calendar
The next date on the island is the Petizo Trail, run at night in Órzola on Saturday 31 October, with starts at 19:00 and 19:30. The full list is in the TriLanzarote calendar.
