Emmax Swim 2026: results of the 14th edition
The 4 kilometres between Arrecife and Playa Honda were won by a swimmer from the infantil category, aged 13 to 15, in 54:24. In the women's race, Sheila Pulido in 58:46.

The Emmax Open Water Swim swam its fourteenth edition on Saturday 29 August in Playa Honda. The organisers closed entries with more than 240 swimmers and ten nationalities. It is organised by B15 Active, and the race is the third of the five stages of the Lanzarote Open Water Swimming Cup.
The long distance opened the morning: 4 kilometres from the Islote de la Fermina, in Arrecife, to the Playa del Curita, so you swim from one municipality to another across open water.
The 4 kilometres, without a wetsuit
This is the classification that scores for the Canary Islands Open Water Cup, and it was won in 54:24 by a swimmer from the infantil category, aged 13 to 15. We do not publish his name, nor that of the third-placed swimmer, who competes as a junior.

In the women’s race Sheila Pulido Mayor won with 58:46, with Marta Armas Roca nineteen seconds behind.

Nineteen seconds of difference after four kilometres of open water is nothing: on the beach it was settled in plain sight.
The 4 kilometres, with a wetsuit
The wetsuit category is ranked separately. It was won by Raúl Fernández Ruiz, with 55:45, and Silvia Gopar Bonilla, with 1:03:31.
Fernández’s time is faster than that of the runner-up without a wetsuit, although they do not compete in the same table: the suit helps you float and the circuit regulations separate them precisely for that reason.
The 1.2 kilometres
The middle distance is the one that scores for the Lanzarote Open Water Cup.

Ten seconds separated the first three men.
The rows without a name are swimmers in the infantil and junior categories, whom we do not publish. And the 1.2 km women’s winner repeats: she also won the 1,200 metres of the San Ginés Swim seven days earlier. Two open water races on two consecutive weekends, both of them won.
The distances for the youngest
In the 800 metres, raced by the alevín category, the winners clocked 17:05 and 17:14.
In the 400 metres, raced by the benjamín category, 8:59 and 10:22. In these two distances, which are for children, we do not publish names.
The 3x200 metre relay went to the Los Delgasasu team in 7:37, ahead of Los Suris (8:09) and Cloros Apiens (8:11).
What is left of the circuit
With the Emmax swum, two stages of the island Cup remain. The next one is the El Río Open Water Swim, the 2.6 kilometres between Lanzarote and La Graciosa, on 19 September and with entries closed for weeks.
To make the Cup standings you need to swim at least three of the five races, so this was the last chance to add a third one for anybody starting from zero.
