What this edition tells us
One note that ties the island calendar together: Lamprecht was back at the front in August, winning both the Night Vertical and the 25 km at the Famara Total. The Canary trail circuit is small enough that the same names recur from one end of the season to the other.
The other reading is about turnout rather than podiums. Four formats and more than 400 bibs in a village in Tinajo explain why this race has lasted twelve editions: it works at once as a competitive race, as a family plan with the Chinijos, and as a hiking route. You do not need to run 10 kilometres to have a place in it.
The next trail on the calendar is the Tinajo You Trail on 4 and 5 September, which also scores for the Tinajo Copa de Carreras Populares.
